I'd heard this music somewhere, a long time ago. My wife and daughter don't like it, but I honestly feel today that it's cooler than the first time I heard it.

UP Diliman Lantern Parade 2009

This is only one of the lanterns from the hall of famer College of Fine Arts. The parade is is still going on at this writing.

What do these pictures mean?

Well, the pictures mean that I need a better camera as I've not done justice to the beauty of these campus scenes this Christmas season. The U.P. Diliman Theater (top photo) is my favorite night spot this time of the year. It's a beauty to behold, something that could make you smile even when you're sad and scared.

The U.P. Diliman Oblation area is another place you must not miss if you're visiting your Alma mater. It's not only what's there to see but also the memories this ethereal spot brings that will lift your spirit up. You must come here if you have time and smell again the cleanest and that familiar December air in the city.

The Quezon Hall and the Oblation, as always, stand imperiously like they are witnesses to the coming and going of the best and the worst University graduates and non-graduates that once set foot and stirred up their minds in this celestial part of the world.
